The challenge

Ridio, an ed-tech startup, had an idea for a visual coding-education platform and roughly two months to prove it, with grant funding riding on the outcome — but no engineering team of their own to build a demonstrable product in that window.

What we did

one embedded engineer built the platform from scratch, starting with an MVP of the visual, drag-and-drop coding environment to secure the grant, then completing it as a full product and extending it with a news feed and blog. When Ridio paused that product to build a new AI tool, the engineer moved to backend work. Partway through the project, a second developer joined on the front end for a couple of months to speed up delivery.

Result

the MVP secured Ridio's grant funding, which funded everything that followed. Ridio has since passed 1,000 registered users at MVP stage and begun rolling out paid plans.

“We are very satisfied with the service received.”
